Hy-Vee to begin work on e-commerce center

West Des Moines, Iowa-headquartered Hy-Vee Inc. said it is beginning work on a $29 million e-commerce fulfillment center in Kansas City, Mo., which will support the Hy-Vee Aisles Online order and delivery program. The nearly 137,000-square-foot facility will also serve as a central kitchen for the chain’s Kansas City-area stores, according to an article posted on the Kansas City Star website.
