Drylock Technologies has unveiled plans for a new production facility in North Carolina that will focus on the production of baby diapers and baby pants.

The 430,000 square foot plant will be located to the north of Greensboro in the community of Reidsville and create more than 300 jobs.

According to the company, the new facility will support Drylock in bringing products to its U.S. customers quicker. Company officials said the additional manufacturing presence will help Drylock deliver solutions more swiftly and efficiently. The company for the past seven years has manufactured incontinence products at its Eau Claire, Wis., facility.

“People often asked me when I would be establishing a baby products plant in the USA and I’m very happy to say that the time is now,” said Bart Van Malderen, CEO of Drylock Technologies. “In 2023, we reached in excess of €1.2 billion ($1.3 billion) in sales, but we’re eager to keep growing. The next step we’re taking towards  further growth is to open a baby care products plant in North Carolina. With a localized manufacturing presence, we can support faster product development for our USA customers and empower them with an unparalleled speed to market.”

Based in Zele, Belgium, Drylock Technologies has produced private label disposable baby, feminine, and adult care hygiene products for more than a decade. The company currently operates five international offices, 10 plants, and has 3,750 employees worldwide.
